General Information


The AMD 178 (Panhard) was an armoured car , 529 of which were used by the french between 1935 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 3 and was 2.26 metres wide, 4.62 metres long, 2.36 metres high and weighed 14.5 tonnes.

Powered by a hp petrol engine the AMD 178 (Panhard) was capable of a road speed of 45mph . The AMD 178 (Panhard) had a road range of 187 miles
