General Information


The PzKpfw III Ausf Nalso known as Panzer III was a medium tank , 700 of which were used by the germans between 1942 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 2.95 metres wide, 5.52 metres long, 2.5 metres high and weighed 23 tonnes.

Powered by a 300hp petrol engine the PzKpfw III Ausf N was capable of a road speed of 25mph and a cross country speed of 11mph. The PzKpfw III Ausf N had a road range of 96 miles

Based on the pzkpfw iii chassis, the vehicle was armed with 2 light machine guns, a 7.5cm KwK 37 L/24 AP with a muzzle velocity of 385m/sec which was capable of penetrating 46mm of armour at 800metres
