General Information

The Medium Tank Type 97 Observation Tank (KA-SO) was a medium tank used by the japanese between 1942 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 4 and was 2.36 metres wide, 5.54 metres long, 2.39 metres high and weighed 15.8 tonnes.

Powered by a hp petrol engine the Medium Tank Type 97 Observation Tank (KA-SO) was capable of a road speed of 23mph .

Based on the all chassis, the vehicle was armed with 2 light machine guns.
