General Information


The T-80 was a light tank , 120 of which were used by the russians between 1943 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 3 and was 2.49 metres wide, 4.77 metres long, 2.05 metres high and weighed - tonnes.

Powered by a 170hp petrol engine the T-80 was capable of a road speed of 25mph and a cross country speed of 14mph. The 97 gallon fuel capacity gave the T-80 a road range of 200 miles and a cross country range of 145 miles.

Based on the light tank chassis, the vehicle was armed with 1 light machine gun, a 45mm M1938 L/46 with a muzzle velocity of 820m/sec which was capable of penetrating 53mm of armour at 800metres
