General Information

The Cruiser Mk VIII (Cromwell IV)also known as Cromwell was a cruiser tank used by the british between 1944 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 2.92 metres wide, 6.4 metres long, 2.49 metres high and weighed 28 tonnes.

Powered by a 600hp petrol engine the Cruiser Mk VIII (Cromwell IV) was capable of a road speed of 38mph and a cross country speed of 18mph. The 139 gallon fuel capacity gave the Cruiser Mk VIII (Cromwell IV) a road range of 173 miles
