General Information


The 7.5cm Pak 39 Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzeralso known as Hetzer was a tank destroyer , 2584 of which were used by the germans between 1944 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 4 and was 2.63 metres wide, 4.69 metres long, 2.17 metres high and weighed 15.8 tonnes.

Powered by a 125hp petrol engine the 7.5cm Pak 39 Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer was capable of a road speed of 26mph and a cross country speed of 8mph. The 7.5cm Pak 39 Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer had a road range of 110 miles

Based on the czech 38t chassis, the vehicle was armed with 1 light machine gun, a 7.5cm Pak 39/40 L/48 AP with a muzzle velocity of 800m/sec which was capable of penetrating 96mm of armour at 800metres
