General Information


The Flakpanzer IV 3.7cmalso known as Moebelwagen was a self propelled anti aircraft vehicle , 240 of which were used by the germans between 1944 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 7 and was 2.97 metres wide, 5.95 metres long, 2.73 metres high and weighed 24 tonnes.

Powered by a 300hp petrol engine the Flakpanzer IV 3.7cm was capable of a road speed of 23mph and a cross country speed of 10mph. The Flakpanzer IV 3.7cm had a road range of 125 miles

Based on the pzkpfw iv chassis, the vehicle was armed with 1 light machine gun, a 3.7cm Flak 43 with a muzzle velocity of 820m/sec which was capable of penetrating 42mm of armour at 800metres
