General Information


The Bergpanzer (Tiger)also known as Bergtiger was a recovery vehicle , 3 of which were used by the germans between 1944 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 3.83 metres wide, 6.37 metres long, 2.92 metres high and weighed 55 tonnes.

Powered by a 700hp petrol engine the Bergpanzer (Tiger) was capable of a road speed of 23mph and a cross country speed of 12mph. The Bergpanzer (Tiger) had a road range of 87 miles
