General Information

The Sturmpanzer (Tiger)also known as Sturmtiger was a self propelled artillery vehicle , 18 of which were used by the germans between 1944 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 3.57 metres wide, 6.37 metres long, 2.87 metres high and weighed 65 tonnes.

Powered by a 700hp petrol engine the Sturmpanzer (Tiger) was capable of a road speed of 25mph and a cross country speed of 12mph. The Sturmpanzer (Tiger) had a road range of 75 miles

Based on the tiger chassis, the vehicle was armed with 1 light machine gun, a 38cm RW61 with a muzzle velocity of 0m/sec which was capable of penetrating 0mm of armour at 800metres
