General Information

The Light Tank M24 (Chaffee)also known as Chaffee was a light tank , 4070 of which were used by the americans between 1944 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 2.97 metres wide, 5.54 metres long, 2.49 metres high and weighed 18.41 tonnes.

Powered by a 220hp petrol engine the Light Tank M24 (Chaffee) was capable of a road speed of 35mph and a cross country speed of 25mph. The 110 gallon fuel capacity gave the Light Tank M24 (Chaffee) a road range of 122 miles
