General Information


The 76 mm Gun Motor Carriage M18 (Hellcat) was a self propelled artillery vehicle , 2507 of which were used by the americans between 1944 and 1945.

The vehicle was manned by a crew of 5 and was 2.8 metres wide, 5.33 metres long, 2.58 metres high and weighed 17.85 tonnes.

Powered by a 400hp petrol engine the 76 mm Gun Motor Carriage M18 (Hellcat) was capable of a road speed of 50mph and a cross country speed of 20mph. The 165 gallon fuel capacity gave the 76 mm Gun Motor Carriage M18 (Hellcat) a road range of 150 miles
